DXRacer chairs are award-winning computer chairs. They’re often used by those working long hours at a computer or for people who game for long periods of time.

Having said this, you may run into some problems with your chair, which tend to come about due to normal wear and tear of these chairs. This is how you can stop a DXRacer chair from clicking.

You’ll typically hear your DXRacer chair clicking when the chair is moving around, reclining, or when the height is being adjusted. Chances are that your chair isn’t broken and there are a few simple fixes you can try out.

What Is the Main Problem?

The most common cause of the clicking noise is wear and tear which means you’ll need to lubricate the moving parts of the chair.

Over time, the moving parts of the chair become worn out as a result of constant use. The way to lubricate your DXRacer chair is to complete the following steps.

4 Steps to Stop Your DXRacer Chair Clicking

Step One: Remove Moving Parts

The first thing you’ll need to do is remove any of the moving parts of the chair that need lubrication. Turn the chair over and remove the wheelbase.

After you do this, remove the washer that holds the wheelbase in place as this is likely the root of the clicking problem. Try to remember the position of each piece so that you can put them back in the correct spots.

Step Two: Look at Washers

The next step is to have a look at the washers on each side of the chair. If they are worn out, a simple solution is to flip the washers over to the opposite side (which shouldn’t be worn out).

If both sides of the washers are worn out, you should purchase a new one entirely and replace the old one.

Step Three: Lubricate

With your new and improved washers, the next thing you should do is to lubricate them. This will cease the clicking sounds that are caused by a lack of lubrication.

You should also lubricate any other moving parts of the chair as they can also cause this noise issue.

Step Four: Put Back Together

Once you’ve lubricated the washers and any necessary moving parts, you can put the chair back together. You will need to do steps back to front in order to put the chair back together.

Tighten the nuts and bolts that keep the chair intact to insure it stays together. Your DXRacer chair should stop clicking after you complete the above steps.
